Senior Fullstack React Native developer - Full-time - LATAM/EMEA/NA

Role Description

This is a contract role for a Full Stack React Native Developer. As a Full Stack React Native Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our mobile applications using React Native.

This freelance role offers a chance to work on an innovative mobile app with a small, dedicated team based out of Seattle, with a high chance of extending into long-term collaboration.

Role Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Pindrop mobile app using React Native (iOS and Android)
• Implement full-stack functionalities with Redux, Node.js, MongoDB, and REST APIs
• Integrate and enhance mapping or geolocation features for user-centric app functionality
• Collaborate closely with the tech co-founder to drive feature development and app improvements

Qualifications:

• Experience with React Native, Redux, and JavaScript
• Experience with Node.js, Express, MongoDB, and RESTful APIs
• Experience with agile methodologies and test-driven development
• Experience with modern web and mobile application development frameworks
• Experience with Git, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to build high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and ability to work effectively in a remote, distributed team environment

Nice to have

• Background in mapping or geolocation features is highly preferred
• Strong English communication skills and a self-driven, proactive work ethic
• Experience with early-stage startups or small development teams
