Senior Fullstack / Mobile Engineer (Open AI, React, Swift) - PT Freelance - LATAM

The product: An LLM powered personal coach in your pocket. Generate workouts tuned to your preferences, fitness level, and home equipment, and serve as a companion and coach to motivate, time, and track your workout throughout. Whether its lifting, HIIT, running, swimming, rowing, core, pilates - WorkoutGPT is the single coach that knows you and helps you stay on track to your goals.

The team: The founder is a successful technical cofounder in the enterprise software space who is passionate about the potential of LLMs and making personal fitness accessible.

The role: Looking for a fullstack engineer with both iOS chops and enough design-sense to be a one-person shop in building the app.
It's probably 20% backend work, 60% frontend, 10% OpenAI, and 10% iOS-specific stuff. Anyone with Capacitor experience (or Cordova, a similar project) is a plus.

Skills:

• Strong iOS fundamentals - Swift, Xcode
• Design: ability to storyboard and communicate designs via design software (Figma, Xcode)
• Familiarity with LLM APIs and surrounding toolchains: (OpenAI Assistants, Langchain, Langsmith)
• Superb communication skills: Verbal, written, and visual

Experience:

• Have built and shipped one or more consumer-grade iOS applications
• Experience working with other engineers & design teams

About you: You’re a self-starter that can understand problems at a high level and execute down to the exact details. You’ve taken a software or app idea from concept to reality entirely on your own. You’re familiar with moderate to intense fitness training - either as a competitive athlete or fitness enthusiast. You’re curious, and as a result, you’ve tried using ChatGPT for many unique tasks. You’re leveraging your engineering & other skillsets using AI to be better & faster.
