Join our innovative startup connecting travel nurses and doctors with furnished monthly housing. We are seeking a skilled Full-Stack Developer with strong expertise in React and hands-on experience with Firebase, Vercel, GitHub, and Stripe. You’ll play a key role in refining our platform, implementing enhancements post-launch, and ensuring a seamless, secure, and scalable experience for our users. Based in the CST time zone, your contributions will directly impact both the frontend and backend of our platform.
Responsibilities
- Identify and resolve bugs in the existing React codebase to ensure smooth user experiences.
- Build and maintain backend services on Firebase (Firestore, Auth, Functions, Cloud Storage).
- Integrate and maintain Stripe for payments, billing, and subscription flows.
- Manage deployments with Vercel and ensure CI/CD practices via GitHub.
- Implement platform iterations (minor to moderate) to enhance both functionality and UI/UX.
- Collaborate with the team to interpret user feedback and address technical challenges.
- Ensure performance, scalability, and security across the stack.
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks.
- Experience with Firebase (Firestore, Authentication, Functions, Hosting/Storage).
- Hands-on knowledge of Stripe API integration (payments, billing, subscriptions).
- Familiarity with Vercel deployments and CI/CD workflows in GitHub.
- Debugging and troubleshooting skills in a production environment.
- Solid understanding of web development principles, scalability, and security best practices.
- Ability to work effectively with some overlap in CST time zone.
Nice to Have
- Previous experience in startups or fast-paced product teams.
- Familiarity with UX design principles and usability testing.
- Experience building or scaling marketplace platforms.
