Senior Fullstack Developer (Healthcare AI) - Full-time - US/Canada/Israel

About the company

At Exponential we’re building AI-Native care coordination to eliminate the $1T administrative “tax” on US Healthcare.  The result is better care at lower cost, redirecting resources back to patient care.  We’re looking for a senior/lead engineer to join our early team and own major parts of the stack, working directly with our brilliant Co-Founder CTO. This is a once-in-a-lifetime **founder-style role—**you’ll be expected to be all-in to build this critical infrastructure for the US Healthcare system, and more importantly to build an unstoppable engineering team.

What you’ll build:
You will architect and build scalable backend services:

• Performant web applications (Next.js)
• Automation flows (browser automation with Playwright/Puppeteer is a plus)
• Data models and optimizing queries

We ship quickly, working as team and independently, in tight sync with the bigger product vision.

Requirements:

• Ambitious, growth mindset that is relentless about achieving huge outcomes for our customers, and excels at teamwork
• 6+ years web programming experience
• 4+ years with Node.js
• 2+ years with Next.js
• 3+ years with SQL
• ORM experience (Prisma, Sequelize, Drizzle)
• Native Level English
• Comfort using a copilot-powered IDE (VSCode + Copilot, Cursor, Windsurf, etc)
• Strong communication and independence

Location: Remote (if you'd like, we have NJ office space)
**This is a contract-to-hire position and require full-time dedication. Client intend to switch to full-time hire once the contract work trial is complete.
