Position Overview

We’re seeking a Senior Software Engineer with expertise in Scala and Angular to join our
founding team. You'll play a key role in building and maintaining high-performance web
applications that help sales and marketing teams move faster, align more deeply, and win more
often. This is an ideal role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving
customer-facing problems, and wants to shape both product and platform from the ground up.

What You’ll Do

● Design and develop performant, scalable, and secure web applications using Scala
(Play Framework) and Angular.
● Collaborate directly with the founder to define technical solutions to customer problems.
● Implement and maintain core features such as user management, role-based access
control, structured summary pipelines, and campaign management.
● Work with DevOps to ensure smooth deployment and infrastructure scalability.
● Participate in and help evolve a strong engineering culture rooted in code quality,
collaboration, and rapid iteration.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have Skills
● 5+ years of professional experience with Scala in production environments.
● Strong grasp of concurrent programming, server-side development, and modern
software design principles.
● 2+ years of experience building Angular applications, including modular component
design.
● Experience building secure, scalable, and testable APIs.
● Familiarity with Git, issue tracking tools (like JIRA), and agile development practices.
● Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in remote or hybrid settings.

Nice-to-Haves
● Experience building role-based authorization systems (e.g., JWT, OAuth).
● Experience building applications with security best practices
● Exposure to SQL and relational database systems.
● Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP) and containerization tools like Docker and
Kubernetes.
● An appreciation for front-end performance and UI consistency in Angular.
