About the Role

ThemePages.ai is looking for a Founding Engineer (Freelance) to architect, build, and scale the core of the world's first fully autonomous social media growth and monetization platform. This is a high-trust, high-impact freelance engagement with the intention to transition into a full-time founding position if it's a strong mutual fit.

You will operate as the lead technologist, partnering directly with the CEO and AI research teams to bring the product vision to life. You’ll be responsible for building systems that power a fully automated engine for buying, growing, monetizing, and selling Instagram theme pages — all with zero manual work.

This is a role for a systems thinker, a product-minded builder, and a founder-level engineer ready to work with speed and ownership.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build the core web and mobile platform using Next.js, Supabase, Tailwind, Capacitor, Stripe, and AI agent integrations
• Design modular systems to support key features such as:
  -Creator marketplaces
  • Campaign automation
  • Content management
  • Escrow payments
• AI-driven decision-making
• Collaborate closely with the CEO and AI Research to implement multi-agent orchestration across core functions
• Establish best practices for security, scalability, and maintainability from day one
• Own the full development lifecycle: concept → MVP → simulation → global launch
• Lay the groundwork for future technical hires and engineering culture

Required Skills

• JavaScript / TypeScript
• Next.js (App Router)
• Supabase (Postgres, Auth, Storage)
• TailwindCSS
• Stripe and other third-party API integrations (Meta Graph API, Airtable, Make.com)
• Experience designing scalable SaaS architectures and infrastructure
• Ability to operate as the sole technical authority in the early stage
• Demonstrated track record of shipping quickly in startup or zero-to-one environments
• Founder mindset: you think long-term, act fast, and build with leverage

Nice to Have Skills

• Familiarity with mobile deployment frameworks like Capacitor
• Experience with AI agents, automation tools, or orchestration frameworks
• Previous experience with creator economy platforms, marketplaces, or fintech infrastructure
• Passion for social media, digital assets, and the evolving creator landscape

• This is a freelance role to start, with the potential to transition into a full-time founding engineer position (including significant equity) on-site
