Senior Full-Stack Engineer (React / TypeScript / Supabase) WW/PT

Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Senior Full-Stack Engineer to enhance and stabilize a sophisticated operations platform tailored for the real estate industry. Your primary focus will be to ensure the platform is robust and reliable for customer onboarding and launch.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a thorough review of the existing application architecture, workflows, database structure, and integration points.
• Debug and stabilize critical end-to-end flows that hinder user onboarding.
• Resolve reliability issues such as failed saves, race conditions, trigger ordering problems, and inconsistent workflow behavior.
• Strengthen Supabase/Postgres logic, including RLS, triggers, permissions, idempotency, and role-based access patterns.
• Enhance backend workflows, ensure data consistency, and improve integration reliability across the platform.
• Support AI-assisted product flows, including document extraction, OCR, tool-calling, and agent-driven workflows.
• Improve observability, logging, error handling, and production readiness.
• Collaborate directly with the founder to prioritize fixes and make informed technical decisions ahead of launch.
• Assist in evaluating longer-term architecture decisions as the product scales.

Required Skills

• Senior-level full-stack engineering experience, ideally within a startup or product-led environment.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript and React.
• Extensive backend/API development experience.
• Solid experience with PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Supabase or similar backend-as-a-service platforms.
• Experience with authentication, permissions, RLS, database triggers, and backend workflow logic.
• Expertise in debugging complex production systems, particularly async workflows, race conditions, data consistency issues, or integration failures.
• Ability to work within an existing codebase and enhance what exists rather than opting for a full rewrite.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with a non-technical but highly product-oriented founder.

Nice to Have

• Experience with TanStack, Vite, Cloudflare Workers, or edge/serverless environments.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM integrations, tool-calling, agentic workflows, or AI-enabled products.
• Experience with OCR, document processing, email ingestion, or workflow automation systems.
• Knowledge of Gmail/Outlook OAuth, Google Drive, Dropbox, or similar cloud integrations.
• Experience stabilizing products initially built with low-code, no-code, or AI-app-builder tools.
• Background in real estate, proptech, fintech, operations software, or other workflow-heavy domains.
