Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Node/React) — Replit ERP Migration & Refactor

Role Overview

Join us as a Lead Full-Stack Developer to spearhead the transformation of a fragile internal ERP MVP into a robust, scalable production-grade system. This role involves working with a Saudi Arabian healthcare distributor to enhance their ERP solution, which is built on Replit using Node.js, React, and Postgres. You will address critical reliability and security issues and ensure seamless integration with SAP Business One.

Responsibilities

• Lead the refactoring and migration of the existing Node.js/React/Postgres ERP MVP into a secure, stable, production-grade system.
• Re-architect the system to support modular procurement and logistics workflows.
• Resolve API reliability issues and ensure robust system integrations.
• Implement comprehensive end-to-end test coverage using Playwright for critical workflows.
• Expand the ERP's functionality to support three departments: EMS, medical supplies, and medical equipment.
• Ensure seamless data integration with SAP Business One, enhancing accounting, warehousing, and order management processes.
• Develop and deliver a detailed refactoring plan, complete with milestones and risk mitigation strategies.

Required Skills

• Proven experience in transforming MVPs into production-ready systems.
• Strong full-stack development skills, particularly in Node.js, React, and Postgres.
• Direct experience with SAP Business One integration.
• Expertise in implementing automated testing frameworks, with a preference for Playwright.
• Ability to create and present detailed action plans for refactoring and migration.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote setting.
• Proficient in explaining complex technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience working in the healthcare distribution sector.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and their integration into existing business processes.
