Senior Full-Stack Engineer (Next.js / Integration Specialist) - PT - Philippines

About the Project

We are building Protée OS, an advanced operational, logistical, and site safety platform designed for the complex realities of large-scale event production. The platform relies heavily on proprietary logic to handle site constraints, conflict-free scheduling, and safety compliance.

We have rapidly prototyped our frontend UI using v0 (Next.js, React, Tailwind, Shadcn) and have a robust, complex backend architecture built in Xano. We are looking for a Senior Engineer to take ownership of this AI-generated frontend, refactor it to enterprise standards, and securely wire it to our backend and crucial third-party services.

The Role

You will not be starting from a blank canvas. Your primary mission is to take our existing v0-generated Next.js prototype, sanitize and secure the code, and bridge the gap between our UI and our Xano backend.

You must be an expert in React/Next.js architecture, state management, and API integrations. You will be responsible for ensuring our frontend is performant, deeply secure, and capable of handling high-stakes operational data.

Core Responsibilities

v0 Code Remediation: Audit, refactor, and componentize UI code generated by v0. Enforce strict TypeScript typing, eliminate redundant CSS, and implement robust state management to replace superficial AI logic.

Xano API Integration: Map and connect our complex Xano REST APIs to the Next.js frontend. You will handle secure data fetching, user authentication flows, and dynamic data rendering based on our proprietary logistical logic.

Payment & Security: Build and secure a robust paywall using Stripe. You will need to handle complex subscription webhooks and ensure frontend access is strictly gated based on backend permissions.

Financial Integration: Lead the integration of the Xero API to sync billing, invoicing, and financial data seamlessly between our platform and user accounting systems.

Media Streaming: Integrate Mux to handle high-quality, reliable video streaming and playback within the platform.

Vercel Deployment: Manage and optimize our deployment pipeline on Vercel, ensuring fast load times and maximum uptime.

Requirements

• 8+ Years of JavaScript/TypeScript Experience: With a heavy, demonstrable focus on React and Next.js in production environments.

• Integration Expert: Deep experience connecting frontend applications to complex REST APIs and handling webhooks securely.

• Stripe, Xero & Mux: Proven track record of successfully integrating these specific third-party APIs into enterprise SaaS products.

• Security-First Mindset: You know how to secure a frontend application, manage tokens safely, and prevent unauthorized data access.

• Architectural Cleanup: You have experience stepping into existing codebases, identifying technical debt, and refactoring for scalability without breaking the UI.

• UI Frameworks: Fluent in Tailwind CSS and component libraries like Shadcn.
