Senior Full Stack Engineer - Hybrid/On-site in Barcelona

The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer to take over technical leadership from our founder. You’ll oversee our development team, lead on architecture decisions, and ensure high-quality delivery for our clients.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment—balancing hands-on coding with team mentorship and project planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical direction and decision-making across projects
• Own code reviews, QA processes, and project planning
• Translate vague client briefs into clear, actionable technical requirements
• Mentor and upskill junior and mid-level developers
• Work across our tech stack: Shopify (Liquid), React, Next.js, Remix, TypeScript, Node.js
• Collaborate with sales, PM, and design teams to deliver projects on time and to spec
• Stay ahead of eCommerce and frontend trends, ensuring best practices are followed

About You

• Proven experience as a Senior Full-Stack Developer, ideally in an agency or startup environment
• Strong frontend skills (React, Next.js, Remix, TypeScript) with solid backend experience (Node.js)
• Shopify (Liquid) expertise essential
• Excellent communication skills, able to work directly with clients and cross-functional teams
• Comfortable handling ambiguity and taking initiative to clarify requirements
• Experience mentoring and leading other developers
• English fluency required; Spanish a plus
• Based in or willing to relocate to Barcelona for hybrid work (1–2 days/week in office; more during busy periods)
