Senior Full-stack Developer - PT Freelance - Worldwide

Role Overview

We’re building a new SaaS platform designed to make compliance and audit processes simple, secure, and actually enjoyable. We’re looking for a hands-on Tech Lead / Senior Full-Stack Developer who can own the build from MVP to scale, setting the technical direction.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development of our platform — from architecture and coding to deployment and s-scaling.
• Translate product ideas into high-leverage architecture and delivery plans, de-risking early through thin vertical slices.
• Collaborate closely with our Founder (Product) and AI Engineer to turn ideas into production-ready features.
• Establish strong engineering standards, CI/CD pipelines, and secure-by-default practices.
• Define and enforce API contracts, observability, and modular architecture across the stack.
• Implement IaC (Infrastructure as Code) and environment configs to keep deployments fast and safe.
• Measure and improve delivery performance using key engineering health metrics — frequent deploys, fast lead times, low failure rates, and rapid recovery.
• Own performance and reliability through tracing, metrics, caching strategies, and error budgets.
• Work in an agile, opportunity-driven environment — able to pivot quickly and capture value as new opportunities arise.
• Build a scalable platform with minimal tech debt, ensuring long-term maintainability and clean architecture.
• Collaborate with team members.
• Balance speed and quality we ship often, but we do it right.

Required Skills

• 6–10+ years of production SaaS experience (React + Node/NestJS + AWS).
• 3+ years in a lead or tech-lead capacity, mentoring and setting coding standards.
• Strength in TypeScript, modular architecture, testing (Playwright / API), and secure data handling (RBAC, JWT, Zod).
  • Proven experience with CI/CD, Docker, and staging/production environments.
  • Pragmatic mindset you can balance getting things done with building for the long term.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Recharts, jsPDF, OpenTelemetry, or LLM integrations.
• Familiarity with ISO27001 / OWASP principles.
