Senior Full-Stack Engineer - AI-Powered Private Equity Tools

We're looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer to bridge our AI-powered backend with intuitive, responsive user interfaces. You'll lead the development of AI-UI integration layers, orchestrate complex LLM workflows, and drive seamless AI-human interaction. You'll work closely with backend engineers to design, implement, and scale next-generation private equity tools.

What You'll Build

AI-UI Integration Layer

• LLM Orchestration: Coordinate Claude AI workflows for financial document processing
• Model-to-UI Connectors: Bridge quantitative models with user interfaces
• Data Flow Management: Handle complex data transformations between AI models and frontend
• API Gateway: Manage communications between frontend, AI services, and backend systems

Automated Document Processing

• Upload & Processing Workflows: Handle financial statements, transcripts, and reports
• AI-Powered Data Mapping: Automatically categorize and structure financial data
• Real-time Processing: Stream AI analysis results to users with progress tracking
• Error Handling: Graceful degradation when AI services fail or need human intervention

Conversational AI Interface

• Chat Backend: Manage conversation state and context across complex financial workflows
• Claude Integration: Handle streaming responses, function calling, and tool orchestration
• Context Management: Maintain financial data context across AI conversations
• Response Processing: Transform AI outputs into structured, actionable user interfaces

Core Technical Skills

Full-Stack Development

• Frontend: React 19, Next.js 15, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS
• Backend: Node.js/Python APIs, database integration, real-time processing
• Database: Firebase, SQL databases, and data modeling
• Authentication: Firebase Auth, JWT, role-based access control

AI/ML Integration

• LLM APIs: Claude, OpenAI, or similar for document processing and conversation
• Streaming APIs: Real-time AI response handling and WebSocket management
• Prompt Engineering: Design effective prompts for financial document analysis
• AI Workflow Orchestration: Chain multiple AI models and manage complex processing flows

Data & Processing

• Document Processing: PDF parsing, OCR, structured data extraction
• Financial Data: Understanding of financial statements, metrics, and data structures
• Real-time Systems: WebSockets, server-sent events, and live data feeds
• API Design: RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and microservices architecture

DevOps & Infrastructure

• Cloud Platforms: AWS/GCP deployment and serverless functions
• Containerization: Docker for consistent development and deployment
• CI/CD: Automated testing and deployment pipelines
• Monitoring: Error tracking, performance monitoring, and logging
