Senior Full Stack Developer (Node, React) - Full-time - EU

About Us: We are a small Switzerland-based company specialising in platform development with React.js, Node.js, and MySQL. We're soon migrating to AWS and need to extend our team with a strong senior full-stack developer. We use solid project management to organise our work and deliver great results.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the frontend using React.js and the backend with Node.js.
• Intensive work with MySQL queries in Node.js.
• Support AWS migration and eventually work on AWS cloud backend services (Lambda, etc.).
• Write clean, well-documented code and troubleshoot issues.
• Collaborate with the team and work autonomously with minimal supervision.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of JavaScript experience, with 3+ years in React.js.
• Expertise in React (Hooks, Redux, RTK, CSS).
• Proficiency in Node.js and Express or a similar framework, such as Fastify.
• Strong experience with MySQL, writing and optimising queries.
• Familiarity with REST API design and coding standards.
• Excellent English communication skills and strong teamwork abilities.
• Good analytical and debugging skills.
• (Desirable) Experience with Docker
