Senior Full Stack developer - LATAM

Roles & Responsibilities:

● Write Python and Django code to implement new features, perform refactors, and address bug fixes.
● Work on backend integrations, creating and maintaining robust connections to third-party services.
● Implement new server-side rendered templates to deliver seamless user interfaces.
● Collaborate with the founder and team members to understand requirements, plan implementations, and discuss overall project direction.
● Participate in QA processes, including reviewing code, validating features, and ensuring quality standards are met.
● Troubleshoot and debug technical issues, ensuring optimal performance and reliability of our platform.
● Maintain clear documentation of code, workflows, and system architecture to facilitate ongoing improvements.

Hard Skills:

● Proven experience with Python and Django, building and maintaining production-grade applications.
● Frontend experience working with HTML & CSS
● Advantage: knowledge of working with HTMX for interactivity / partial page updates
● Strong understanding of server-side rendered templates and related best practices.
● Proficiency in integrating third-party APIs and working with RESTful services.
● Solid knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git) and code review processes.
● Experience with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and query optimization.
● Familiarity with containerization (e.g., Docker) or other deployment methodologies is a plus.
