Role Overview

Join Portablesoftware as a Senior Full Stack Developer to lead the development of a cutting-edge mobile terminal app. This app will enable cloud code access on mobile devices and is designed to exude a premium, "billion-dollar company" feel. As a key member of the team, you will drive the app's success, leveraging the co-founders' extensive backend expertise.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of the mobile terminal app using Flutter.
• Implement real-time text rendering and ensure robust WebSocket communication.
• Manage stateful architecture to enhance app performance and reliability.
• Ensure the app meets App Store and Google Play criteria, alongside accessibility and security standards.
• Collaborate closely with the backend team to maintain a cloud-first development approach.
• Prepare and submit the app for launch in the app stores, ensuring readiness for pre-launch milestones.

Required Skills

• Over 5 years of experience with Flutter, including a track record of successful App Store and Google Play launches.
• Strong expertise in state management and real-time rendering techniques.
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically AWS or GCP.
• Proven capability to deliver production-ready applications under tight deadlines.
• Availability for a 2–4 hour overlap with Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Azure as an additional cloud platform.
