Senior Full-Stack Developer (FMS Rebuild) - FT - Oceania/APAC/EMEA

Role Overview

Join iEDM, an Australian leader in event infrastructure and project management, to help rebuild our custom Facility Management System (FMS) on a modern tech stack. We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer who will provide foundational support and ongoing code review to facilitate a safe, AI-assisted development process.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a thorough assessment of the existing prototype to decide between hardening or rebuilding.
• Establish a robust production foundation, including a multi-tenant data model with Row-Level Security (RLS), authentication/SSO using Azure AD, and setting up repository, CI, and automated testing.
• Develop coding standards and guardrails for AI tools and team members to follow.
• Deliver a written assessment and provide an indicative view of the build effort required.
• In an ongoing capacity, review AI-generated code, focusing on high-risk components such as security, multi-tenant access, financial logic, integrations, and data migration.
• Ensure architectural consistency as internal contributors add new modules to the system.

Required Skills

• Expertise in React/TypeScript and Supabase/PostgreSQL.
• Experience in developing production-grade SaaS applications with multi-tenant RLS and authentication.
• Proven ability to transition AI-assisted prototypes to production environments.

Candidates must have at least 50% working-hour overlap with Melbourne business hours (9am–5pm AEST)

Nice to Have

• Experience with data migration and familiarity with Anthropic/Claude API.
• Preference for candidates in the AU timezone to facilitate collaboration.
