Senior Full-Stack Developer (Flutter/Laravel) - Part-time - Worldwide

Project Overview

We are looking for an independent developer to conduct a technical audit of a Flutter/Laravel social networking app developed by an external team. While the developers claim the app is bug-free and optimized, we need an expert review to validate the code quality, performance, security, and scalability before moving forward.

Responsibilities

• Code Quality & Maintainability: Review Flutter frontend and Laravel backend for best practices, readability, and maintainability.
• Error Logs & Debugging Reports: Analyze logs using Sentry and Laravel Telescope for unresolved issues.
• API Efficiency & Security: Assess API response times, security vulnerabilities, and overall efficiency.
• Database Performance & Scalability: Evaluate MySQL/PostgreSQL database structure, indexing, and query optimization.
• Scalability Assessment: Determine if the app is built to handle future growth and increased user load.
• Hosting & Cost Optimization: Verify if the current hosting setup is cost-effective and optimized.
• Findings & Recommendations: Provide a detailed summary of findings, including potential fixes and effort estimates.

Requirements

• Strong experience with Flutter (Dart) and Laravel (PHP)
• Proficiency in API security, performance tuning, and debugging
• Expertise in MySQL/PostgreSQL database optimization
• Familiarity with Sentry and Laravel Telescope for logging and debugging
• Experience conducting code audits and scalability assessments
• Ability to provide clear documentation and actionable recommendations
