Senior Full Stack Developer (Flutter/Firebase) WW-PT

Role Overview

Join us as a Senior Full Stack Developer to work on Black Belt Lingo, a sophisticated language learning app. This is a remote opportunity where you will maintain, optimize, and develop new features for our gamified app, leveraging your expertise in Flutter and Firebase.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and fix bugs in the existing Flutter application.
• Optimize app performance and manage App Store and Play Store releases.
• Develop new features based on prioritized business needs.
• Ensure seamless integration and functionality of Firebase components like Firestore, Cloud Functions, and Auth.
• Collaborate asynchronously with a non-technical founder and report weekly on progress.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience with Flutter/Dart, with live apps in the App Store and Play Store.
• Proficiency in Firebase including Firestore, Cloud Functions, Auth, and security rules.
• Expertise in Flutter state management, particularly with GetX or similar frameworks.
• Ability to independently manage and own the codebase post-handoff.
• Strong communication skills for asynchronous work.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Python/FastAPI for AI backend services.
• Familiarity with Mixpanel integration.
• Knowledge of in-app purchase and billing processes.
