Jane Cervantes, RecruiterOverview
Client is an enterprise SaaS platform for strategy execution, decision intelligence, governance, and AI-driven analysis. The platform is built and deployed. Backend security, environment separation, automated releases, test automation, tenant data separation, and the server side of our strategy build automation are complete.
We're looking for a senior frontend engineer with strong UI/UX skills to build the user-facing side of these capabilities and bring the product experience to enterprise standard.
This is not a rebuild. You'll improve an existing product, preserve approved business logic, and own frontend quality end to end.
Core Skills
Frontend Engineering
- Expert React, TypeScript, and JavaScript
- Experience in large, existing production codebases
- State management for complex, multi-step workflows
- Component architecture and reusable component libraries
- Performance optimization for data-heavy interfaces
- Frontend and end-to-end testing (Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright or Cypress)
- REST API integration and authentication flows (AWS Cognito a plus)
- Working within an established CI/CD pipeline and staging environments
UI/UX (Critical)
- Strong product design judgment and the ability to make UX decisions independently
- Enterprise dashboards and data-intensive interfaces: tables, filters, charts, drill-downs
- Interaction design for complex workflows: approvals, governance, multi-step processes
- Information architecture for multi-module platforms
- Design systems: tokens, components, patterns
- Accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA)
- Figma or equivalent, from wireframes to developer-ready specs
- Data visualization (D3, Recharts, ECharts, or similar)
Key Responsibilities
- Build the frontend for the strategy build automation on the completed backend.
- Audit and improve UI/UX consistency, usability, and performance across the platform.
- Mature the design system and extend test coverage to critical UI workflows.
Ideal Background
- 5+ years of frontend engineering; demonstrated capability matters more than years
- A portfolio of enterprise SaaS, B2B dashboard, or data-heavy product work
- A hybrid profile that owns both UX decisions and production-quality code
- Experience with AI-powered product interfaces
- Experience with founder-led products or complex existing codebases
Probably Not a Fit If
- You're a visual designer who doesn't ship production code
- You're a frontend engineer who needs every screen fully specified
- Your experience is limited to marketing sites or simple consumer apps
- You prefer rebuilding over improving existing products
