About the Role

AlixPartners is seeking a highly skilled, U.S.-based Front-End Developer for a part-time freelance engagement, with the potential to extend into a full-time role. This role focuses on building and enhancing front-end experiences within Palantir Foundry, supporting data-driven analytics dashboards used in high-stakes business environments.

The ideal candidate is a senior, adaptable developer who thrives in a dynamic environment, deals well with ambiguity, brings strong business acumen, and can contribute strategic insights - not just code. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders to iterate on dashboard improvements and new feature development, often in industries like aerospace and defense.

This role is ideal for a mature developer who not only delivers high-quality code but also acts as a thought partner challenging assumptions, suggesting alternative approaches, and helping stakeholders uncover better solutions. Required Skills

• U.S. Citizenship (required due to project security considerations)
• Deep experience with Vega (JSON-based) charting in Palantir Foundry, including multi-layer and complex visualizations
• Strong UX/UI experience (send portfolio examples in addition to resume)
• Strong front-end development experience (JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, CSS)
• Expertise with Palantir Foundry platform
• Ability to look at the big picture and translate ambiguous requirements into effective front-end solutions
• Strong communication skills for engaging with non-technical stakeholders
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, fast-changing environment, with maturity to effectively prioritize, make tradeoffs, and suggest alternatives

Nice to Have Skills

• Back-end development experience or familiarity with full-stack environments
• Previous consulting experience or exposure to enterprise clients
• Familiarity with aerospace, defense, or other regulated industries
• Startup or product-oriented mindset with a bias toward action and iteration

Additional Information

• Engagement Type: Part-time freelance (initial 4 weeks), with potential for full-time extension up to 3 months; Engagement may expand as client needs evolve—initial part-time scope is guaranteed, with potential to flex into full-time depending on project demand

• Location Requirement: U.S.-based candidates only; must be U.S. citizens who live in the U.S. (green card holders NOT eligible for this role)
