Senior FlutterFlow Engineer (Mobile & Integrations) WW-PT

Role Overview

BetterMiles is seeking a dedicated Senior FlutterFlow Engineer with expertise in FlutterFlow and Flutter to join our mission-driven team. Our platform transforms physical activity into corporate-sponsored donations through engaging charitable fitness challenges. With our app already supporting large-scale events, we are gearing up for even larger enterprise deployments. As a key player, you will help stabilize, scale, and enhance our platform to prepare for major events, taking ownership of an existing product and solving real-world problems that directly impact our users.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of a FlutterFlow-based mobile application, ensuring it meets high standards of performance and reliability.
• Review and thoroughly understand the existing codebase handed off from a previous vendor.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks to improve application stability.
• Build and enhance features based on detailed product mockups and specifications.
• Implement integrations with third-party fitness platforms such as Garmin and Strava.
• Develop community and social engagement features, including posts, comments, and reactions.
• Work with APIs, authentication flows, and backend-connected functionality.
• Collaborate directly with the founder to translate requirements into production-ready solutions.
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to enhance implementation, debugging, and delivery processes.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with FlutterFlow and/or Flutter.
• Proven track record in building, maintaining, and shipping production mobile applications.
• Experience with integrating REST APIs and third-party services.
• Familiarity with cloud-based backend services and backend-driven mobile applications.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive execution with minimal oversight.
• Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with HealthKit, Google Fit, Garmin API, and Strava API integration.
• Experience building social, community, or engagement-focused features.
• Experience supporting applications with thousands of active users.
• Experience with backend platforms like Firebase or Supabase.
• Proficiency in using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or Cursor.
