Senior Flutter Developer (CIT/Logistics Mobile Platform) - PT - LATAM/NA

About the role

Client is building a mobile platform for cash-in-transit (CIT) operations, used by drivers and vault operators/managers in the field. You'll own development of a cross-platform Flutter app covering real-time geofencing/location tracking, and evidence capture with AI-assisted document/barcode processing.

What You'll Do

• Build and maintain a Flutter app for iOS and Android serving field drivers and vault operations staff
• Implement robust background geolocation and geofencing (e.g., using flutter_background_geolocation or equivalent) — reliable in low-connectivity, battery-constrained field conditions
• Build camera-based evidence capture workflows (photo/document proof) integrated with AI-based data extraction for paper documentation and barcodes
• Design for offline-first / intermittent-connectivity use cases typical of field logistics operations
• Collaborate closely with the existing engineering team on architecture and integration with backend/middleware systems

Must-Haves

• Senior-level Flutter experience (production apps, iOS + Android)
• Hands-on experience with background location/geofencing implementations at scale
• Experience with logistics track-and-trace systems (CIT, courier, supply chain, or asset tracking — adjacent domains accepted)
• Experience integrating camera capture with OCR/AI-based document or barcode data extraction
• Comfortable overlapping meaningfully with US West Coast working hours
• Professional fluency in English (spoken and written)

Nice-to-Haves

• Direct CIT/cash-in-transit industry experience
• Experience with offline-first mobile architectures
• Familiarity with hardware/middleware integration in logistics contexts
