About Us

Echo is a fast paced, exciting new healthcare startup focused on building innovative products to increase the clinical capabilities and improve quality of care for those being treated for behavioral spectrum disorders. We utilize the latest in responsible AI technology to provide secure, supplemental tools for patients, caregivers, BCBAs, and case-workers to improve treatment outcomes from a holistic and compassionate approach.

We have partnered with some of the largest companies in healthcare and are fully funded for success and are building our initial team. While our headquarters is in Philadelphia, this is a fully remote position. Most of our developers are remote, but always from the United States. We use some great tools such as real-time whiteboarding, screen-sharing, collaborative planning and more that makes working remotely feel not so remote.

About You

You love building and pioneering in the technology space, and don't mind doing so in a fast-paced startup environment. AI/ML technologies are something you are actively involved with or at least highly interested in. You enjoy solving complex problems as part of your work, and enjoy having autonomy in doing so.

You also have demonstrable experience of the following:

● Python
● Python Data Engineering Ecosystem (pandas, numpy)
● Jupyter Notebooks
● PostgreSQL or Similar
● Docker and Docker Compose
● Developing and Consuming REST APIs
● Working with Event Queues (SQS or similar)
● Git and Github
● AWS or similar Cloud Service Provider
● Strong knowledge of modern software design patterns

Bonus points if you have experience with any of the following:

● Hugging Face
● Anthropic Claude
● Extraction and processing of unstructured PDF data
● Vector Databases
● Object detection models and strategies
● Creation or fine-tuning of ML models
● Spark
● Airflow
● Flask
