We are embarking on a critical 6-month project to build advanced analytics components for a healthcare software platform using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI. This project is pivotal for the upcoming insurance enrollment season and requires top-tier data engineering talent.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric to join our team on a remote contract basis.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, healthcare analytics, and cloud technologies, especially within Azure ecosystems. This role demands a proactive engineer who can contribute to solution architecture, ensure HIPAA compliance, and deliver robust, scalable analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and analytics components using Microsoft Fabric
• Build and optimize data warehouses and automation workflows for healthcare analytics
• Integrate real-time analytics capabilities into the platform
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and data privacy regulations in all data engineering processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect scalable and secure solutions
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders in English, providing technical insights and recommendations
• Participate in solution architecture discussions and contribute independently to project success

Required Qualifications

• Senior-level experience as a data engineer with a minimum of 5 years in data engineering roles
• Expertise in Microsoft Fabric development and analytics tools (Power BI experience is a plus)
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and related Azure cloud services
• Strong knowledge of healthcare industry standards, including HIPAA and protected health information (PHI) management
• Proven ability to contribute to solution architecture, not just execute tasks
• Experience working on healthcare analytics or insurance projects preferred
