ABOUT the company
Client is a senior advisory and digital acquisition partner. We work across strategy, paid media, CRO, analytics, upper-funnel growth, and creative—embedding directly with client teams to build systems that compound rather than operating as another disconnected agency vendor.
Our model pairs senior operators with agentic workflows. Humans frame the problem, direct the strategy, and own the client relationship; technology accelerates research, concept development, production, QA, and iteration. Creative is part of the performance system: briefs are informed by audience and campaign data, concepts are built to be tested, and the results feed directly into what ships next.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We help clients design effective creative and testing approaches across a range of channels — Meta and Instagram, YouTube, Search, CTV, programmatic, TikTok, Pinterest, and Reddit — and, at times, lifecycle materials such as email.
We’re hiring a Senior Creative Strategist to own creative ideation, testing design, and client-facing creative strategy across multiple accounts. You’ll own the client-facing creative workstream end to end: leading weekly brief and roadmap reviews, presenting new concepts and the rationale behind them, walking clients through test results and performance learnings, and translating those findings into clear recommendations for what to test next. You should be able to hold the room with VP-level stakeholders, guide the discussion, gather useful feedback, and connect creative decisions to media performance and business outcomes. An analyst will support the reporting; you’ll be responsible for interpreting the results and presenting the story.
WHAT YOU’LL DRIVE
- Creative ideation — new concepts, supported by data, on a biweekly basis.
- AI-generated creative production — produce static ad creative and short-form video using AI generative tools (Midjourney, Higgsfield, Firefly, Runway, Veo, Sora, or comparable image and video platforms) for concept testing and rapid iteration.
- Testing and measurement — design effective creative testing approaches — A/B and multivariate — in collaboration with clients’ data analytics partners.
- Weekly brief creation — for new or iterative tests.
- Creative briefing — meet with client teams weekly to review new briefs, collect input on concept designs, and update the creative roadmap.
- Monthly testing recommendations — on process changes that reduce the cost to test new concepts and identify winning and losing concepts faster.
- Creative test management — across multiple clients on a weekly basis.
- Creative roadmap reviews — weekly client meetings highlighting test learnings, roadmap milestones, and campaign performance.
- Client management — across multiple accounts, establishing our expertise — and your own — in creative strategy, learnings, briefing, and results.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Is highly analytical — uses data insights to educate clients on launching more effective creative.
- Takes a framework-driven approach — sizes the level of work, partners with the VP of Creative Strategy to price projects appropriately, and tracks project profitability.
- Researches rather than assumes — may not be an expert in any given channel, but is adept at researching marketing platforms, running consumer research, and pulling competitive insights to support decisions.
- Is fluent with AI generative creative tools — comfortable producing polished static and short-form video assets personally, not just directing others to.
WHAT YOU NEED
- 5+ years of experience in consumer insights, data analysis, marketing analytics, or a quantitatively heavy marketing role.
- Hands-on proficiency with AI generative creative tools — demonstrated ability to produce ad-ready static creative and short-form video using AI image and video platforms, including prompt craft, iteration, and quality control to brand standards. Portfolio or work samples of AI-generated creative strongly preferred.
- Strong ability to present to senior decision makers at VP level and above, and to condense insights into bite-sized recommendations.
- Proficiency in brainstorming new testing ideas grounded in data insights.
- Ability to partner with clients’ creative teams and production partners to communicate brand values, identity, and voice.
- Ability to explain the rationale behind creative decisions, and why creative may or may not have performed to expectations.
- Ability to lead and mentor junior team members, guiding them on using data insights to sharpen their thinking.
- Experience in creative for one or more channels: YouTube, Meta, TikTok, email, landing pages, Pinterest, Reddit, Instagram, CTV, or programmatic.
- Excel at an intermediate to advanced level. You won’t live in it daily, and you’ll have an analyst supporting A/B creative test reporting, but you can translate data with intermediate-level functions when you need to.
- Demonstrated experience running controlled experiments — A/B and multivariate — including the statistical concepts behind them: hypothesis testing, segmentation, randomization, and bias and validity.
- Can explain the difference between attribution and incrementality, the use case for each, and how each applies to testing.
- Stays current on creative industry trends (new ad formats, platforms, AI creative tooling), marketing trends, and clients’ customers — new product launches and competitors.
NICE TO HAVE
- SQL experience at intermediate level or above.
- Experience with AI video workflows beyond generation — AI voiceover and dubbing, avatar-based UGC-style ads, or automated creative variation at scale.
- Skill in designing and conducting qualitative and quantitative research to understand consumer preferences, behaviors, and motivations.
- Experience with surveys, focus groups, ethnographic studies, and social listening.
- Ability to extract meaningful consumer insights and translate them into creative concepts that resonate with target audiences.
