Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Build and scale model inference infrastructure for real-time streaming audio inputs to enhance latency, scalability, and reliability.
• Develop tools to monitor and optimize the performance of inference infrastructure.
• Improve the CI/CD processes to streamline development and deployment.
• Set up processes to ensure smooth and efficient releases.
• Serve as the GCP expert, providing insights and solutions for related challenges.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with building infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) capable of handling large-scale traffic.
• Experience in setting up multi-region serving infrastructure.
• Familiarity with various types of load balancers.
• Expertise in Terraform and extensive networking knowledge.
• Effective communication skills and a methodical approach to organization.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud engineering.
• Ability to work independently in a remote-first environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Nice to Have

• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience in site reliability engineering.
