Senior Backend Engineer (Go) - Full-time - LATAM

We're developing an AI tools platform for web and mobile, and we're looking for a highly experienced and organized Senior Backend Engineer to lead development using Go. You’ll be responsible for building reliable, scalable backend systems that support real-time, AI-enhanced features for a growing user base.

Experience with AI models is not required, but familiarity with the ecosystem is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Go
• Build and maintain APIs to support web and mobile platforms
• Collaborate closely with frontend, mobile, and AI teams
• Ensure clean, testable, and well-documented code
• Optimize performance, uptime, and system reliability

Requirements

• 8–10 years of backend development experience
• Expert-level proficiency in Go (Golang)
• Strong experience building and scaling consumer-facing apps
• Skilled in API design, data modeling, and distributed systems
• Highly organized with great documentation habits
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Familiarity with AI tools or APIs is a plus

• Open-source Go contributions

• Familiar with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or Kubernetes
