Senior Backend Developer (.NET, AWS) - Full-time - EMEA/APAC

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to extend our modern B2B SaaS contract management application which is used in the construction and mining sectors internationally.

You will carry out all work on the backend and interact with a project manager and front-end developer to add support for new contract types in the application and introduce multi-lingual options for notifications sent from the backend.

All tasks, repos and pipelines are in Azure DevOps. The application is AWS cloud-native and serverless making extensive use of Lambda. The original backend developer will not be actively involved in the project but you will have access to him for guidance and orientation.

Responsibilities

• Enhance and maintain the backend of our web application using .Net 8.0 C#.
• Work with Amazon DynamoDB for database operations.
• Extend the GraphQL API where necessary.
• Collaborate with the frontend developer to ensure cohesive application functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues identified by testers.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in .Net 8.0 C# for backend development.
• Experience with Amazon DynamoDB for database management.
• Strong understanding of GraphQL API development.
• Familiarity with AWS services and infrastructure including Lambda
