Our small but experienced founding team is committed to delivering a production-ready MVP in just a few weeks - and we need top backend talent to make it happen.

About the Role

We're hiring a Senior Back-End Developer to architect and build robust APIs that aggregate real-time data from multiple prediction markets (e.g., Polymarket, Kalshi). You'll lead development of a modular, microservice-based architecture using TypeScript, Express/Hono, and databases like MySQL, MongoDB, or Drizzle.

You’ll be working closely with a front-end engineer and product team to ensure our backend services are fast, reliable, and scalable. Web3 familiarity is helpful but not required — the key is building clean and modular APIs that are easy to consume.

This is a contract-to-hire role with strong potential for long-term involvement.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of back-end development experience
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript
• Experience building and scaling REST APIs
• Hands-on with frameworks like Express, Hono, or similar
• Knowledge of relational or NoSQL databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, Drizzle)
• Experience designing microservice architectures
• Familiarity with data scraping or third-party API integrations

Nice to Have Skills

• Prior experience with prediction markets or crypto data platforms (e.g., Polymarket, Kalshi)
• Experience with event-driven architecture
• Web3 ecosystem familiarity
• Experience at top-tier tech companies or fast-moving startups
