About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of backend development experience and a strong command of modern server-side technologies. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining backend services, integrating third-party APIs, and supporting high-availability web applications. This role requires a hands-on expert with a deep understanding of clean code practices, data structures, and backend architecture.

This is a senior-level position, and we’re looking for someone who can work independently, think critically, and contribute meaningfully to our platform’s continued evolution.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of backend development experience
• Strong expertise in PHP and Node.js
• Solid knowledge of SQL and relational database design
• Experience building and consuming APIs and Webhooks
• Proficient with the Stripe API for payment processing and subscriptions
• Strong familiarity with WordPress and WooCommerce API integrations
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have Skills

• Familiarity with cloud hosting environments (e.g., AWS, DigitalOcean)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with performance optimization and database scaling
• Basic frontend knowledge to support backend integration (e.g., JSON, RESTful design)
