Senior Architect/Team Lead (.NET/Next.js/API) - FT Freelance - Worldwide

Role Overview

Join our consultancy as a Senior Architect/Team Lead, where you'll guide a diverse team in leveraging a wide range of technologies to meet client needs. Our core stack includes Next.js, Web API, .NET 8, Entity Framework, and MSSQL, but we also work with ASP.NET 4, Node.js, Angular.js, Oracle, AWS, and more. Your role will be pivotal in shaping the architectural direction and ensuring code quality across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide architectural guidance and set code standards for a variety of technologies and projects.
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Lead the team in balancing technical efficiency with business objectives, including ROI and tradeoff analysis.
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, QA team members, and other architects to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Engage with clients to understand their needs and translate non-technical requests into actionable plans.
• Serve as a key point of contact for technical and leadership guidance within the team.

Required Skills

• Extensive experience with Next.js, Web API, .NET 8, Entity Framework, MSSQL, and familiarity with ASP.NET 4, Node.js, Angular.js, Oracle, AWS, Vercel, Duende Identity Server, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Docker, Strapi, Wordpress, Sitecore.
• Strong leadership skills with a focus on technical efficiency and maintainability.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven ability to perform tradeoff analysis and ROI assessments.

Nice to Have

• Experience with modern team leadership and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Familiarity with additional web technologies and platforms not listed in the core stack.
