About the Role

We’re seeking a Scrum Master (ideally with some Product Owner experience) to join our team on a part-time basis (8 hrs/week) and support our remote, async-first workflow. This is a strategic role focused on ensuring alignment, maintaining velocity, and supporting the CEO’s transition from a hands-on ML role to a more executive capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate weekly sprint planning, reviews, and backlog grooming
• Translate product vision into actionable tasks with clear timelines
• Manage and refine the product roadmap with input from the CEO and technical leads
• Coordinate across AI/ML and full-stack development teams
• Draft and maintain clear technical documentation, specs, and user stories
• Track progress and risks across sprint cycles, helping unblock where needed
• Ensure strong async communication and structured reporting

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of professional experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Project Manager, or similar
• Experience working in SaaS environments and/or with early-stage startups
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, lean teams with limited structure
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Scrum frameworks
• Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
• Product Owner experience is a plus, especially for feature scoping
• Familiarity with technical teams working on ML/AI products is a plus
• Comfortable working with remote teams and across time zones
