Join our dynamic team as a Rust Expert to contribute to the development of an event-based trading system. Our project primarily utilizes Python, with performance-critical components implemented in Rust, C, or as C extensions. We seek individuals who excel in Rust and possess a strong foundational understanding of computer architecture.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to design and implement high-performance components using Rust.
• Optimize existing Python applications to enhance performance and robustness.
• Work on integrating Rust components with the current Python codebase.
• Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the trading system to ensure efficiency and reliability.

Required Skills

• Expertise in Rust programming, with a strong understanding of system-level programming.
• Proficiency in building robust and high-performance applications in Python.
• Solid understanding of computer architecture and performance optimization techniques.

Nice to Have

• Experience with C and Cython for performance-critical components.
• Familiarity with iceordyx-2 is a strong plus.
• Interest or experience in extending Python with C extensions.
