Urgent Rails Audit Needed for GPS Subscription Platform

Our company is a GPS-tracking service with a subscription-based model. The platform is currently inactive due to legacy bugs, and we need a senior Ruby on Rails developer to perform a time-boxed code audit and deliver a short written report before our stakeholder meeting

Scope (Phase 1):

• Audit legacy Rails 6/7 + Postgres codebase
• Identify root cause of onboarding failure
• Flag security/deprecation issues
• Provide fix estimate in a ≤2-page report

Phase 2 (Optional):

Longer-term maintenance and upgrade contract

Requirements:

• Senior-level Rails experience (Rails 6/7)
• Comfortable with legacy code and debugging
• Familiarity with GPS/IoT integrations
• Able to sign NDA and start within 24h
