Remote Part-time Backend Developer

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our team remotely. You will be instrumental in updating our database, managing Database APIs, and handling webhooks to support and enhance our infrastructure. Your work will contribute to delivering data visualization, AI report generation, and AI agent workflows.

Responsibilities

• Update and run database migrations within our codebase.
• Manage Database APIs and handle webhooks efficiently.
• Support ongoing improvements in infrastructure for data visualization and AI report generation.
• Review and troubleshoot code generated by Claude Code
• Understand and navigate our codebase to make recommendations for improvement.
• Refactor code to enhance performance and maintainability.
• Support the development of AI Agents.
• Review pull requests to ensure code compatibility within the current framework.

Required Skills

• Minimum 10 years of experience in backend development.
• At least 5 years of experience with the following technologies: AWS Aurora, Lambda, Cognito, IAM, Claude, Bedrock, Mastra, Node.js, Typescript, and GitHub.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot effectively.

Nice to Have

• Experience in recommending improvements for existing infrastructure.
• Familiarity with AI agent workflows and data visualization techniques.
