Full-Stack Developer (Remote)

As a Full Stack Engineer, you’ll own core features end-to-end. You’ll play a pivotal role in defining the future of CreativeMode, working closely with the founders and early team, and staying connected to our passionate, growing community.

What You’ll Work On

• Building and iterating on our Next.js/TypeScript webapp.
• Developing and refining our Electron/Vue/TypeScript desktop application.
• Turning ideas into live features fast with a balance of polish and speed.
• Contributing to architecture decisions and setting engineering best practices.
• Engaging with users for feedback and making their experience better every release.

About CreativeMode

CreativeMode enables players to create mods for their favorite video games without coding, starting with Minecraft.

Video games have evolved from fixed, finished products into living worlds shaped by players, developers, and pop culture. We’re taking that evolution to its next stage by giving every player the power of a game studio at their fingertips.

In just our first three months, we built the most powerful no-code modding platform ever for Minecraft and created a double digit percentage of all mods ever released. We're building the flagship product in an entirely new category of gaming tools. Minecraft is only the beginning.

Experience:

• 1–5 years building real-world applications (startup or high-growth environment a plus).
• Solid experience in TypeScript plus strong skills in related languages (e.g., Python, Go).
• Experience with full-stack web development (Next.js, Node.js) and/or desktop app development (Electron, Vue).

Tools & Mindset:

• Comfortable building your own dev tools as needed.
• Use AI-powered coding tools (like Cursor) to maximize velocity.
• Proactively improve systems to help the entire team move faster.

• While the founders are based in SF, this role is fully remote, but you can expect close, real-time collaboration.
