Key Qualifications:

  • AWS & Kubernetes Operational Experience:
  • Practical experience with AWS cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with basic operations and maintenance of Kubernetes/EKS clusters.
  • Understanding of ingress and Kong setting.
  • Familiarity with common monitoring tools such as Prometheus, ElasticSearch, Kibana, and Grafana.
  • Ability to use Kubectl for service health checks and basic problem diagnosis.
  • Troubleshooting Capability:
  • Ability to quickly identify and resolve service disruptions.
  • Capable of performing troubleshooting steps based on existing documentation and runbooks.
  • Communication Skills:
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for effective issue handovers and status updates.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Service Monitoring & Health Checks:
  • Monitor services running on AWS Cloud and on-prem devices to ensure their healthy status.
  • Perform routine health checks and identify potential issues.
  • Problem Diagnosis & Resolution:
  • Respond to alerts and conduct initial diagnosis of service failures.
  • Execute troubleshooting steps according to operational runbooks to restore service.
  • Collaboration & Handoff:
  • Collaborate with internal teams on operational matters.
  • Clearly document problem resolution processes and status for seamless handovers.

*This role is required to be on-call for internal tech support (10-12 hours shift)
