React + Tailwind Front-End Developer for SaaS App

Role Overview

Join our team as a senior front-end React developer to enhance and stabilize the UI for Budget Mentor, a SaaS platform designed to assist researchers in building compliant federal grant budgets. You will work with a well-structured codebase, focusing on finalizing UI details, testing edge cases, fixing rendering issues, and ensuring the product's reliability for users.

Responsibilities

• Address Linear tickets related to front-end fixes, form components, layout bugs, and UI enhancements.
• Ensure accurate rendering of computed values and maintain visual integrity.
• Contribute to and refine our Storybook component system.
• Modify or complete screens as necessary to finalize product workflows.
• Participate in daily standups at 10am EST to coordinate with the team.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience with React and Tailwind CSS in a production environment.
• Proven track record working on SaaS applications with revenue exceeding $1M ARR.
• Ability to work quickly while maintaining code stability and quality.
• Proficiency in Git, component-based development, and responsive layout design.
• Capability to independently manage Linear tickets, implement solutions, and deliver tested code.

Nice to Have

• Background in computer science or formal education in web development.
• Experience with form-heavy applications and ensuring UI reliability.
• Previous contributions to or maintenance of a Storybook design system.
