Project Overview

We require native development of an Expo plugin to integrate the Insta360 SDK into our React Native mobile application. This plugin will allow our customers to create 360° property inspections—essentially virtual property walkthroughs.

Requirements

• SDK Access: We already have access to the Insta360 SDK for both iOS and Android.
• Plugin Goal: Build an Expo plugin that bridges the native iOS and Android Insta360 SDKs to React Native.
• Scope of Work:
  Implement the plugin so our app can fully leverage the SDK’s capabilities.
  Expose all SDK functionality to the React Native layer.
  Provide the foundational plugin only – not the full 360 inspection feature itself. Our team will build the user-facing feature on top of the plugin.

Outcome

A production-ready Expo plugin that:

• Bridges both native SDKs to React Native.
• Allows our app to communicate directly with Insta360 cameras.
• Provides access to all functionality offered by the Insta360 SDKs.
