React Native developer (iOS focus) - Part-time - NA/LATAM/EU

About Us

We are a SaaS studio developing multiple tools, including Shopify apps and iOS applications. Our team is currently working on an iOS app with an AWS backend (Python), and we’re looking for an experienced React Native developer to help accelerate development.

Role Overview

We are seeking a React Native Developer with expertise in iOS development and Expo to join our team on a part-time contract basis. You will collaborate closely with our founder, who specializes in backend development, to bring our app to the next stage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize the iOS application using React Native & Expo
• Ensure smooth integration with the AWS backend (Python)
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code
• Collaborate closely with our small, agile team to refine features and user experience
• Debug and troubleshoot issues to improve app stability and performance

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in React Native & iOS development
• Proficiency in Expo for React Native projects
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX best practices
• Familiarity with AWS services and Python backend (nice-to-have)
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a small team
• Availability for 4-5 hours of overlap with CST time zone

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working on SaaS applications
• Background in backend integration and API management
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
