React.js Developer - PT - WW

Abour the role:

We are looking for an expert front end developer to work with us at Kuppa on a short term basis.

At Kuppa we help utility companies sell and design solar panel packages for UK homeowners.

Our core products are APIs and we are now building a platform which allows our customers to access the APIs in an intuitive way.

We are a team of 6 and have limited Front End expertise in the team, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable coming into the team as the Lead FE engineer, and is ready to coach the rest of the team.

Our FE stack

• Languages - javascript, typescript
• Framework - reactWhat we will expect from you:
• Review and refactor existing code to drive quality including centralizing code into shared library packages
• Implement FE security best practices
• Help define FE development approach - tips, best tools etc to make the dev process smooth and fast
• Implement deployment process best practices
• Implement platform analytics to collect event based data
• Ensure adequate testing infrastructure is in place
• Setup logging, monitoring, website analytics for user activities, etc

In addition to the above, must have:

• Proficient English
• Remote but cross over with UK timezone (GMT) for at least 5 hours per day
• At least 3 days a week
