Qa Tester For SaaS Platform - Part-time - Worldwide

Role Overview

We’re seeking a dedicated QA Tester to support the development of TeamHiiv, a cutting-edge SaaS platform for AI-powered workflows and assistants. This role goes beyond traditional QA functions, requiring a deep understanding of user experience to test the product as a real user would. You will play a crucial role in identifying issues and providing actionable feedback.

Responsibilities

• Test new features and workflows before they are released to ensure quality and functionality.
• Identify bugs, edge cases, and unexpected behavior within the system.
• Write clear, structured bug reports detailing steps, expected vs. actual outcomes, and severity.
• Retest fixes and validate changes to confirm issue resolution.
• Identify and report on confusing or unclear parts of the user experience.
• Collaborate closely with the team to prioritize and clarify issues for resolution.

Required Skills

• Proven experience testing web applications or SaaS products.
• Strong attention to detail and structured thinking capabilities.
• Ability to clearly document issues and communicate findings effectively.
• Competence in analyzing user flows and identifying edge cases.
• Ability to test features from a real user perspective, not just predefined test cases.
• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to Have

• Experience testing complex or workflow-heavy products.
• Test automation experience (Playwright, Cypress or similar)
• Experience working with early-stage or evolving products.
• Experience identifying UX issues, not just bugs.
• Interest in AI-enabled tools or systems.
