We are looking for an experienced Python Automation Architect to analyze, optimize, and scale our existing automation infrastructure. This role is crucial in enhancing our system’s performance, reliability, and scalability as we aim to increase capacity by 20x.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Python, Selenium, and AWS, with the ability to reverse engineer an existing automation system, identify bottlenecks, and implement scalable, high-performance solutions. You will also play a key role in centralizing our codebase in GitHub, improving documentation, and potentially providing technical coaching to the development team.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and optimize the existing Python codebase, focusing on efficiency and scalability.
- Reverse engineer and enhance Selenium browser automation to support increased volume.
- Evaluate and improve our AWS architecture to ensure it can handle 20x the current load.
- Collaborate with the team to implement scalable architecture solutions while maintaining system reliability and performance.
- Centralize and manage our codebase in GitHub, ensuring version control and accessibility.
- Create comprehensive documentation detailing the interconnections of all system components.
- Provide guidance and coaching to the development team to foster best practices and continuous improvement.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in Python programming and automation.
- Expertise in Selenium for browser automation.
- Strong knowledge of AWS architecture and services.
- Experience with GitHub for code management and version control.
- Ability to create detailed technical documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
