Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the ScreenPayroll development team. This role involves coordinating project timelines, ensuring deliverables meet quality standards, and managing communication between developers and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee project timelines and workflows across frontend, backend, mobile, and DevOps teams to maintain project alignment and streamline development processes.
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives and technical requirements.
- Maintain continuous communication with stakeholders, providing updates on project progress, identifying potential risks, and offering solutions to ensure on-time delivery.
- Manage project issues, resolve conflicts, and work proactively with team members to remove obstacles to project success.
- Implement and uphold best practices in project management to improve efficiency, quality, and team cohesion.
- Track and report on project performance, resource use, and overall team productivity to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Computer Science, Business, or a related field; PMP or Agile certification preferred.
- Proven experience managing software development projects, ideally in payroll or fintech.
- Strong familiarity with frontend and backend development, APIs, mobile app development, and DevOps processes.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, with an ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage resources effectively to meet tight deadlines.
- Experience with project management tools such as JIRA, Asana, Trello, or similar, and a working knowledge of Agile methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with payroll or financial software development.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and CI/CD practices.
- Ability to foster a positive and collaborative work environment.
