Product UIUX Designer (Fantasy Football & Soccer Stats App) - Part-time - Worldwide

About the Project

Local League Legends is an early-stage mobile application focused on soccer stats tracking, team management, and fantasy football. The app aims to bring a modern and engaging fantasy sports experience tailored to local leagues and casual players around the world.

Initial wireframes have been created in Figma, covering core screens and navigation. We’re now seeking a skilled designer to refine the visual language, expand the wireframes across all app flows, and ensure a professional, cohesive aesthetic that aligns with the app’s sporty, competitive, and data-driven vibe.

What You’ll Work On

• Expand and refine existing wireframes to cover all app flows, including: Match tracking, Player stats and profiles, Fantasy league setup and management, Team rosters and scoreboards
• Develop and implement a consistent visual design system, including: Color palettes, Typography, UI components, Iconography
• Ensure intuitive, mobile-first UX for a global, sports-savvy user base
• Collaborate asynchronously with the founder (Samuel) to iterate quickly
• Prepare the design files for a hand-off to developers following the design phase

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Strong portfolio of mobile product design work, ideally consumer-facing apps
• Proven experience using Figma to create, organize, and deliver high-quality design systems
• Understanding of mobile UX best practices
• Excellent attention to visual detail and layout consistency
• Able to work independently and communicate proactively

Preferred but not required:

• Experience designing sports apps, fantasy leagues, or data dashboards
• Familiarity with soccer/football rules and user behavior
