Product Manager (Research & Development Focus) - Part-time - APAC

Product Summary – OOODLE:
OOODLE is a Social platform that merges branded virtual spaces, social connectivity, play mechanics, and reward systems into one cohesive experience. By offering customizable “Biomes” and integrating game-like elements, OOODLE transforms passive online interactions into dynamic, user-driven adventures. This environment empowers brands to create authentic engagement, while users enjoy a richer, more interactive digital journey filled with challenges, connections, and tangible incentives. Role Overview:

This position leads the full product lifecycle with a special emphasis on research-driven innovation and continuous improvement. The candidate will create detailed Product Requirements Documents (PRD), Software Requirements Specifications (SRS), and guide rapid prototyping activities. The individual should be adept at applying robust R&D methodologies to identify market opportunities, test emerging technologies, and leverage insights for product refinement. Prior experience in adtech, blockchain, and gaming is strongly preferred. Working closely with founders and cross-functional teams, this role in drives products from concept to launch.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Research & Analysis:

• Conduct in-depth market, user, and competitive research to uncover product
  opportunities.
• Identify and evaluate emerging technologies, trends, and frameworks that can
  enhance product capabilities.
• Develop data-driven proposals to inform product direction and strategic
  investments.

2. Requirements Documentation & Alignment:

• Create comprehensive PRDs and SRS documents, ensuring detailed
  specification of functional and non-functional requirements.
• Translate research insights and complex concepts into clear product
  requirements aligned with user needs and business objectives.
• Validate requirements through stakeholder input, usability testing, and iterative
  feedback loops.
• Reference: IEEE Standard 830-1998 for Software Requirements Specifications.

3. Rapid Prototyping & Iterative Development:

• Lead agile prototyping initiatives to quickly test concepts and gather user
  feedback.
• Continuously refine prototypes based on R&D findings, technical feasibility, and
  user insights.
• Ensure a lean, experiment-driven approach to product improvement.

4. Industry Expertise & Innovation:

• Apply adtech know-how to incorporate data-driven targeting, personalized user
  experiences, and revenue optimization models.
• Leverage blockchain principles to enhance trust, security, and traceability in
  product ecosystems.
• Integrate gaming mechanics to foster user engagement, retention, and
  community growth.

5. Collaboration & Communication:

• Partner with founders, engineering, design, marketing, and data teams to ensure
  product alignment with strategic vision.
• Facilitate clear communication of product rationale, updates, and results to both
  technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Foster a collaborative environment that encourages experimentation, shared
  learning, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Proven experience managing product lifecycles in research-intensive contexts.
• Strong background in conducting market research, user studies, and competitive
  analysis.
• Demonstrated experience crafting PRDs, SRS documents, and rapidly prototyping
  solutions.
• Familiarity with adtech, blockchain, and gaming industry frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills.
