Role overview

We’re looking for a part‑time (≈ 20 hrs/week) contract Product Designer for an initial 3‑ to 6‑month engagement. An ideal candidate can take ideas from rough sketch to polished hand‑off, own our design system, and inject consumer‑grade delight into healthcare workflows. You’ll collaborate closely with our founders, engineers, and clinician design partners. High impact today, with a path to full‑time if it’s a mutual fit.

What you’ll tackle

• Map and design end‑to‑end flows for clinician and patient apps – user research, IA, wireframes, high‑fidelity mocks, and interactive prototypes.
• Stand up and maintain Vibrant’s design system in Figma (components, tokens, documentation).
• Drive rapid prototyping and usability testing cycles – bias to learn fast, ship faster.
• Infuse our brand voice across product surfaces, marketing landing pages, and investor collateral.
• Ensure accessibility and HIPAA‑level privacy are baked into every interaction.
• Partner with engineering on clean hand‑off, QA, and pixel polish.

You’re a fit if you…

• Have 5+ years designing digital products, with at least 2 years in consumer health, wellness, or digital care.
• Bring a portfolio of shipped work that shows range – UX architecture, visual craft, and brand sensibility.
• Thrive in ambiguity, set your own scope, and communicate clearly with technical and clinical teammates.
• Prototype in Figma/Framer (bonus: basic React or HTML/CSS to speak dev).
• Care deeply about preventive, whole‑person healthcare and want to push the industry forward.

Bonus points

• Experience with AI‑driven interfaces or data‑heavy health dashboards.
• Motion/micro‑animation skills to make complex data feel human.
• Familiarity with FHIR or other healthcare data standards.
• Prior early‑stage or founding designer experience.
