Product Designer UI/UX, Mobile - Part-time - Americas/Europe

Role Overview

We are seeking a talented Product Designer with a focus on UI/UX and a strong mobile-first approach. You will play a crucial role in enhancing our product's user experience, particularly for mobile users, and contribute to the design of innovative features. Your work will involve creating intuitive user flows, refining information architecture, and implementing effective interaction patterns.

Responsibilities

• Polish existing product interfaces to improve intuitiveness and close UX loopholes across web and mobile platforms.
• Develop a consistent visual language and enhance the onboarding experience for new users.
• Design new features including boards UI, daily suggestions, and interactive widgets.
• Conduct lightweight user research to gather insights from active users and inform design decisions.
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure Figma designs are effectively translated into React Native components, addressing any constraints.
• Take conceptual ideas and independently develop user flows, wireframes, and polished Figma designs.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Figma for design work.
• Experience with mobile app design design principles and practices.
• Familiarity with designing AI/chat interfaces, including streaming indicators, model switching, and conversation threading.
• Understanding of React Native design constraints and ability to work closely with developers for implementation.
• Capability to perform user research and incorporate findings into design improvements.

Nice to Have

• Experience with TypeScript and familiarity with our tech stack, including React, Node.js, and Tailwind.
• Knowledge of AWS infrastructure and cloud-based deployment.
• Familiarity with AI/LLM technologies and how they integrate into user experiences.
