Product Designer (Mental Health Platform) - Part-time - Worldwide

Role Overview

We are looking for a talented UI/UX Designer to join our team and contribute to the development of an innovative mental health platform. This platform is designed to integrate emotional journaling, provide therapy support, and generate psychiatrist-ready insights, enhancing the emotional intelligence of mental health professionals. You will be instrumental in designing intuitive interfaces for individual patients, therapists, and psychiatrists, ensuring a seamless and user-friendly experience across both web and mobile platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive interfaces for three distinct user types: individual patients, therapists, and psychiatrists, ensuring a cohesive user experience.
• Use Figma to create detailed mockups and prototypes that cater to both web and mobile platforms.
• Develop a complete platform mockup, including a landing page and sign-up process, adhering to existing branding guidelines.
• Design a landing page that facilitates easy navigation between different user types.
• Ensure all designs are responsive and optimized for web, tablet, and mobile devices.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in Figma, including expertise in responsive layouts, prototyping, and component libraries.
• Experience in UI/UX design for both B2B and B2C platforms.
• Familiarity with AI integration and designing for healthtech or wellness tools.
• Ability to iterate designs quickly, work asynchronously, and collaborate effectively with a small, founder-led team.

Nice to Have

• Experience designing interfaces specifically for healthcare professionals.
• Skills in UX writing for empathetic, psychologically aware products.
• Previous experience with AI-powered platforms, particularly those backed by large language models (LLMs).
• Understanding of privacy-aligned UX practices, such as HIPAA or PIPL compliance.
