Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced PostgreSQL Database Administrator (DBA) to expertly manage, optimize, and scale our high-performance database systems that process millions of transactions daily. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our databases.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain PostgreSQL database systems to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
• Optimize database performance by monitoring system health and tuning queries and indexes.
• Scale database systems to handle increased transaction loads efficiently.
• Implement and maintain backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Collaborate with development teams to design and implement database schemas and structures that support business requirements.

Required Skills

• Proven experience as a PostgreSQL DBA, with a deep understanding of database management and optimization.
• Strong skills in performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies.
• Experience with database scaling techniques to manage high transaction volumes.
